The Feldenkrais Method offers adults a simple and effective way to rediscover overall ease and freedom of movement, as well as achieve improvements related to their specific issues such as pain, tension, repetitive strain, limited range of motion. Gentle touch and subtle movement provide feedback to the nervous system to help a person learn to move with ease and let go of unnecessary tension. Feldenkrais sessions can help with chronic pain, injury prevention and recovery; improve posture, balance, and coordination; reduce stress and anxiety.

Private Feldenkrais sessions are designed specifically for each person’s unique needs and goals. These sessions create a safe and respectful space where changes happen naturally, allowing for a gentle transformation in posture, balance, and overall body awareness.

How It Works


Feldenkrais sessions focus on working in alliance with the human nervous system, to support and accelerate natural learning that happens at an unconscious level. No need to analyze your movement or correct it through an effort of will – these types of adjustments bring temporary change at best. The change that emerges during a Feldenkrais session integrates seamlessly into daily life – you don’t have to think about how you move or keep correcting yourself.

What to Expect During a Feldenkrais Session


In each session, my goal is to meet you, as you are, and help create an experience that will most effectively address your specific concern, and bring improvements in overall mind-body state at the same time.

During the session, through gentle touch and subtle movement, I provide non-intrusive feedback to help your brain and nervous system naturally discover greater ease and freedom of movement. As the session progresses unnecessary tension is released, breathing becomes easier, and your overall state becomes more balanced and grounded.

Throughout the session your input is welcome, appreciated, and always taken into account. I will check in with you periodically to make sure you are feeling comfortable or have questions.
